Bourne 9th in first WMRA GP race of 2008

BOURNE 9TH IN FIRST WMRA GP RACE OF 2008

Mark Bourne, Australia's leading senior male finisher at the World Mountain Running Championship last year, has begun 2008 in outstanding form. He has finished 9th in the first World Mountain Running Association Grand Prix race of the season, the 13 km up the Grandballon in the Alsace region of France.
Bourne ran 67:24. The race was won by Emmanuel Meyssat of France in 61:34.
