The NSW Mountain Running Championship scheduled for this Sunday at Wentworth Falls in the Blue Mountains was to kick off the 2010 championship mountain running season, culminating in the World Championships, World Long Distance Mountain Running Championships and World Masters Championships in August and September. However, the NSW Championship has been postponed to 11 April because of the need to meet additional requirements by the NPWS. The Championship season will now start with the ACT Championships on 6 March.
