Mt Ainslie Run Up

The King of Crackenback David Osmond, who has won this coming Saturday’s Thredbo race almost 20 times, had an excellent tune up by comfortably winning today’s Mt Ainslie Run Up in 11.37. International orienteers Grant Bluett and Oliver Poland filled the placings.
World Orienteering Championship representative Shannon Jones was fastest female in 13.32, with second placed Louise Sharp running a personal best of 14.27. Natasha Cole was third in 27.57.

Black Mountain Run Up

David Baldwin had an excellent recovery from the Coast to Kosciuszko to win the final ACT race of 2010, the Black Mountain Run Up on 21 December, from Juan Senz and Steve Hanley. There was a top class trio of performances in the women’s race, with Vanessa Haverd running 14.15, Elizabeth Humphries 14.42 and Louise Sharp 15.47.
