The popular Running Wild Trail Running Series in the NSW Blue Mountains continued on Saturday with the inaugural Kedumba Half Marathon which includes the famous 1000m climb uphill through the Kedumba Pass, an ascent which noted ultra runner Natalie Jennings decribed in her Facebook report as ‘one bad ass hill!’.
Australian long distance mountain running representative Brendan Davies continued his Six Foot Track preparation with a solid win in 1.36.14, from Quentin Reeve (1.37.22) and Michael Donges (1.38.31). Joanne Barton was fastest female in 1.56.06 from Joanne Brischetto (1.56.06) and Lisa Carroli (2.08.08).

The Running Wild website is http://runningwildnsw.com/ The next event is the Knapsack run on Wednesday 26 January. This event will be run over a 4.5km bush trail circuit with competitors seeing how many laps they can complete over the given time frame (3hrs, 6hrs or 12hrs).
