From team manager, Melissa Clarke: Australian results

38th – Vanessa Haverd – 4:04:30
44th – Angela Bateup – 4:08:20
64th – Louise Sharp – 4:19:19

Vanessa ran about 15 minutes quicker than the last time she ran Jungfrau a few years ago. She also had a faster than expected first 10km.

Angela got off too a really good start, found the going tough but was soaking up the atmosphere.

Louise posted a very fast split for the last 6 km (the steepest part) and powered through the final stages.

Andrew Tuckey is the sole Australian team member in the Men’s Championship on 9 September as Gerard Robb has been diagnosed with a stress fracture and withdrawn.
