In a tune up for the Kepler Ultra Run in New Zealand in a few weeks, Olympic marathon runner Martin Dent clocked 10.55 up Black Mountain to smash Mark Bourne’s course record of 11.33. Last month’s winner Brad Hetharia was 2nd in 12.21 and James Minto 3rd in 13.10.
Louise Sharp backed up from winning the Deep Space Marathon and finishing 3rd 2 days earlier in the Run With the Wind Fun Run to be gastesat female in 15.32. Orienteering champion Grace Crane was 2nd in 16.45 and Diwa Hopkins was 3rd in 18.29. Course record holder Vanessa Haverd walked up with baby Erica in 22.41.
