All runners on race day

All runners on the day must check in at registration and receive their race numbers and electronic timing chips at least 30 minutes before the start time of their races.

All competitors should be in the start line vicinity at least 10 minutes before their scheduled start time and must report to the official at their start line at least 5 minutes before the start of their races for their race briefing.

Toilets are located near the registration area, and at the top of the mountain.

Timing

Electronic timing chips will be used. These must be returned immediately on finishing; failure to return a chip will incur a charge for the cost of replacement. Splits (at the summit of the mountain) will be timed manually.

Catering

Some refreshments will be supplied to competitors in the finish area.  Furthermore, there will be a coffee van and a canteen that has refreshments for sale.

How to get to the course

Find the suburb of The Gap, which is situated west of Brisbane along Waterworks Road (15 minutes travel by car from the CBD).  On leaving The Gap, Waterworks Road changes its name to Mount Nebo Road.  Bellbird Grove is located about 5 – 7 minutes drive west from The Gap towards Mount Nebo. After about 5 km on Mt Nebo Road, you will see the turn off to Bell Bird Grove; at the end of this approx. 2 km road you will find the car park, registration area and the start of the races.
